$1,700 made me the proud owner of a 1969 Chrysler Newport today. 90,000 miles, repainted in 2002, no rust, runs and drives flawlessly and powered by a healthy big-block 383. I LOVE IT
ACTUAL OFFER: If you live in Toronto, come to my house and I'll give you a ride in it. I'll also let you drive it if you're a chill dude.

After my "go fast" phase I'd love to pick up a big old car.
Looks like a fun cruiser. Just need a posi for some big block burnouts.

Remember the mileage from your other ride? Yeah. Fond memories.
Looking pretty sweet! So what's first? Blower or new paint? =P

paint is actually from 2002 and it's in great shape. wash, water pump, pwr steering pump, a few gaskets here and there and then she's good to go!

It's at Engineered Automotive, first Sunday of every month apparently. I just found out about it this spring, but have been working so I missed the first two.
Next on is Sunday July 6th, 8am.

Boss.
I've recently discovered the joys of driving a big, floaty car . You feel like a badass pretty much the whole time you're driving it.
Looking forward to some pics :)

Seriously great price. Who doesn't love Fuselage Chryslers? The first years are the best looking too, sleek and clean and carries its mass very well.

Well done! I've got a thing for Mopars, we've got B-Bodies, but, I have a friend that has your cars twin, in New Yorker fashion. Also has a 68 Newport that caught fire on us one day. But that's a story for another day.
Enjoy!

congrats on the next car purchase! That thing looks like it'd be a blast to cruise in. And more than enough room for extra activities.
Was bummed of course about the swift. But I think mine is headed that way as well. Although I'm currently ˝ ass looking for a replacement of same 3/5 & hatch. I was a few hours late to respond to a swift Gti for $1300.
If you were closer I'd buy some parts, but not quite sure my replacement will be same.

Very impressive! What you gonna call it, "HMCS" what? And when are the Naval aviators gonna fly in the jets you launch off of its deck?
